Organized over two days, there are hundreds of professional hairdressers and beauticians from all over the UK who descend upon the infamous Blackpool Winter Gardens to share tips and techniques and display their scissor skills.
Known for the popular interest and more than 600 entrants take part in this competition!
Be in the majority and come to watch and learn the latest techniques right here in Blackpool.
Main focus is on the big competitions and we all know how competitive these kinds of events are, so much so that one year a fly-on-the-wall documentary was made about the event.

Large stands featuring new product ranges are on display in the Blackpool Winter Gardens, as well as free demonstrations by professional stylists.

i had such a wonderful tym i was in the uptrend compettition i also went to simon shaws speech and he is an amzing man i also enjoyed my tym watching the fit dancer on the stage i had me picture took with one of them i dont really where i came out of all but it was such a rememable day thanks luv ya xx

I am exhibiting at the hair show march 2010 and was wondering if anyone entering the hair competition might want to promote our product and use our hair gemz on their models (ideal if anyone is doing evening hairstyles or wedding)
Our product….crystal hair gems in loads of colours that you apply to the hair using ghd’s…..

hi read your post, and wondered if the stylist doing the upstyle might want to use and promote our hair gemz, we are having a trade stand at the show in march but wanted someone to use our product in the show….hair gemz coming in a variety of colours and pearls and they fix in the hair using ghd’s . Very effective and noone else using them as they are so new on the market.
