    Hay i went to see this about 2 weeks ago and i really enjoyed it.
    I must say the acts were really good!
    The only down side was a few mistakes were made in some of the performances and it was quite noticable but other than that it was a brilliant show.
    My partner patricularly enjoyed the gymnast routines as most men would, but i think this is one to take children too aswell.

    i have been to see forbidden 4 times and may go 1 or 2 more times before the show finnishes on november 4th, its absolutely brilliant, stunning really love it. it touches you deeply inside, bought the forbidden dvd, the female and male performers were excellent, the singing,dancing, acrobatics sensational, the lighting, smoke efects, the flames, the water falling, the show really touched me very deeply, i thought the blonde who juggled rings hula hoops round her body and did sexy body movements on a bench was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful, plenty of beautiful female performers but this blonde was my favourite, was able to chat with her and get her autograph as well as a few other female and male performers. good memorys. peter.

    the show was bloody brilliant as i loved the music used during the perfomances. i have the disc for it but unfortunately i wish there were a site to find the lyrics. i am looking foward to see if there has been changes in 2009. i surely hope that they put some sort of story to go with it in some sort of way.

    went to see on saturday mny god was so good, we booked for the sunday aswell, plus going bk in 3 weeks its so good if anyone is thinking should i go its a big big yes wow is all i can say

    Have seen the show 6 times so far and we absolutely love it, the music, the effects and the cast are spectacular. plus Al thinks Lynsey is absolutely gorgeous. Will be going again soon.

    Highly recommended! Brilliant show & suitable for all ages. Costumes are brilliant & the dancers & gymnasts are so good. We were amazed at the flexibility on the trapeze & hoola hoop act. Excellent.

    Well closing night and……eh, i’ve seen better. Antony Winmill and Nikki Scott were sorely missed. Most of Antony’s numbers were replaced with a half hearted attempt at copying him. Sorry Amanda but you made a HUGE mistake in firing some of the best characters and dancers that the Pleasure Beach has ever had. In speaking to a lot of the audience after the show,(those who weren’t just family and friends of the cast) this will be their last visit. I know this was the last night, but, there was no spirit. It’s like everyone had given up.
    Going back 10 years or more, closing night was where everyone gave their all. The seats were packed and the show closed with a bang.

    Whats happened???

    There always is on the last night….it’s compulsary by family and friends. Wasn’t as good as previous years is all i’m saying….lacked a certain “something” if you know what i mean.

    Hi… umm from several different comments i’ve read and heard, apparently Forbidden isn’t coming back for 2009 :/ if this is the case, then i am really unhappy at pleasure beach. Not only have they cancelled Hot Ice this year, but they have sold my family “platinum passes” for £150 each, saying that “that is the cheapest deal we will get” .. only for us to discover that they are holding a January sale, in which they are selling them for £125 .. Under the sale of the passes, customers are guaranteed discoun entry to a stageworks show, and if they call “south beach musical/ magic show” a stageworks production, then i don’t know what amanda is thinking. Sorry to whine at the price, but for two of us, £300 is a lot of money, especially if Forbidden is not running. Closing night was amazing though.. shame there weren’t more people in the audience :/

    I am really dissapointed with pleasure beach. I mean i just cant belive that they would cancel hot ice and forbidden they are brilliant shows and i know that a lot of people agree !

    I was just about to book for a wekend in blackpool this year 2009 and iv now found the 2 best shows are not on, the hot ice show & forbidden , come on amanda u’l loose thousands, i certainly won’t bother booking tickets for pleasure beach without the show tickets and i think I won’t be alone.

    I am a regular visitor to Pleasure Beach and I think Amanda Thompson has cooked a turkey of immense proportions if getting rid of 2 brilliant shows and not even using The Globe for the season and the resulting show Dancing Water Fountains may be stunning to watch but I love to watch a real show and Hot Ice and Forbidden were both excellent entertainment.I wonder how many people will visit this year with the new £5 minimumm entrance pass

    no shows like forbidden or even better eclipse i came every year to see showws from dundee no shows no come the park????/
    no matter £5 a 20 minuet show does not matc a good show come on be realistic

    I totally agree. We have been to see the show more than once a year for the past few years and the pleasure beach will be a less proffitable and sadder place because the shows aren’t on. Not only the show we went to the white tower restaurant as well, an excellent place to eat but we will not be visiting this either if the shows aren’t on. A great loss on both sides.

    Why isn’t Forbidden on anymore? Are they cost-cutting or something? There’s no shows in Blackpool as it is…people won’t be bothered to go to Blackpool and they will go abroad instead. We LOVED Eclipse and were very very sad to see it go (maybe it was due to Vladmire’s injured wrist, we all knew that was going to happen!). Now it’s byebye to Forbidden. We can’t let them do this!

    i think they should bring eclipse back and mystique they were both original pieces of work who everyone loves and adored, i loved forbidden but nothing could beat eclipse even though it wasnt sams voice on the soundtrack lol it was ian measons lol

    I worked at forbidden last year and i must say as good as your comments are, the dancers work very very hard, and train all hours of the day, but dancing is only something you can keep practising you can practise 24 hours a day and still not get things right, You must look beyond the mistakes at the quality in there dancing when its good its really good and even when something doesnt go to plan, its still bloody good, x

    This is the 1st year since I was born I haven,t been to Blackpool and judging by what some of our friends said we didn’t miss much at BPB as some the rides are permanantly closed or not running and no really good shows as i said in a previous message Amanda Thompson now has a turkey when before it was a golden goose as the Pleasure Beach was the place to visit.

    Hi I have to say i was so guted the hot ice and forbidden was not on last year I take my mum as a treat every year and we didnt go last year the only year for about 10. Does anyone know if they will retur this year I hope they do so many dissapointed people. x
