Blackpool Striker to Face Criminal Damage Charges
Keigan Parker will stand in court over charges of an alleged rampage in a Blackpool massage parlor.
The Wembley winner reportedly kicked and smashed a window at the town center premises.
It is alleged that Parker lost his temper at Desires on Cookson Street, hurling his mobile phone and chips before breaking the window.
However the player was not present yesterday at Blackpool magistrates to answer the allegations made against him.
The Blackpool player has been accused of causing £275 of damage during the incident on February 11th this year.
Parker who was signed by the Seasiders in the summer of 2004 has scored 41 goals for Bloomfield road, and last year received hero status after scoring against Wembley in Blackpool’s play off win.
The Blackpool team had the weekend in question off after the game against Rotherham was called off.
Mr Parker’s case was adjourned till December 3rd by Blackpool Magistrates Court, which falls in line with the club’s televised fixture with Scunthorpe.
However the Blackpool Seasiders manager Simon Grayson declined to comment at all on the court case.
